Oh. I was there in 2011. He didn't go... was that the night it was raining a lot?

I remember sitting in the lower level screaming "Throw the EFFING ball" so much I lost my voice. I don't think the people around me were happy about the F bombs.

Just happy that BAMA lost to Auburn and they are not a factor. I think we'd beat them again, just don't like the fact that they get in w/o going to the SEC title game.

Tell the truth. You thought Jason White and that OU's Best Defense ever was gonna beat our asses 31-10 huh?

I did. But I love being wrong.

Oh no doubt

OU just seemed like such a juggernaut.

When JV busted that run on the first play, even though the fricking flash in Derrick Straight’s Jersey ran him down, I exhaled and thought ok we can play with them.

Damn that defense was nasty

It did have a dream like feel to it though, since we started as a mid ranked team and hadn’t made a run like that before.

07 I was super confident all year. I knew how good we were and starting ranked #2 I seemed perfectly reasonable imo. Loved that we were so good with the target on our backs all year, starting with the Sugar Bowl.

2011 was a different experience as it had a Heisman campaign mixed in. I was almost as excited for Mathieu as I was for the team.

This year is the best of all three.

There is some disbelief with the offense being historically great, but also I knew this could be a special run and was really only worried about Alabama, and obviously Burrow’s run is simply the greatest performance in Tiger history.

As much as people tried to lie to themselves in ‘03 and ‘07, all national titles are not created equal. There is something to be said for perfection.

If LSU finishes this season the way I think they will, this title will blow away the other 2 from this millennium and will stand among the greatest seasons off all time. I have waited my entire life to see a dominant, perfect season from LSU and they are on the cusp of achieving it. It’s been very satisfying to watch.

I vividly remember ESPN talking heads calling them the Team of the Century.

I am 75 and been fortunate enough to attend the entire 1958 home season and 03,07, and sadly 11.

I can relate as in 03, I remember telling my college age kids and their friends, just give me one more and I will be happy. Now it looks like it might be four. Incredible
