I agree. Losing 13 games this year and 11 last proves your point doesn't it?

You do realize that we won a great deal with defense creating short fields r defensive TDs, and special teams giving us field position?

You think we win convincingly v Ark and UGa without Tyrann?

The offense was effective with Lee at QB and when we stretched the field.

Les is no offensive genius regardless of wins. Our offense is pedestrian and unimaginative.

That is without a doubt the worst I have read all day. You win the illogic prize.

God this is just too funny for words.

He had QBs that he could trust this year...Les was stuck on jj for some ungodly reason...how the hell do you bench a qb that carried lsu dam near the whole season...if you havent noticed, LSUs offensive production decreased when jj took over....

Actually offensive production increased when JJ took over up until the UGA and Alabama games, both top 10 defenses.

Without a doubt. This team was built that way.

No way of knowing. My guess is that LSU does win convincingly because they wear them don.

Without a doubt. He was effective when either one would stretch the field.

Don't care, all but one team couldn't stop them. They ranked 12th is scoring.

Lolwut?
You are still whining about the randle thread. I started that right after I heard someone call in on a sports talk show in new Orleans. How does that make me a liar? Someone called in and said that Randle had a terrible season because of qb play. Which is false because he had a huge season.

Not sure why you are calling me out for something that did happen and I started a thread about. Apparently coach hating threads and all out ranter negativity threads are acceptable. But my thread that refutes a claim gets called out? That doesn't make any sense.

If you think this team could 'recruit itself' I suspect you never even knew what LSU Football was prior to 2003. It doesn't. Louisiana just becomes where other schools get the best recruits without a coach at LSU that is strong in recruiting.

And crying about offensive production in a year where we were SKULLDRAGGING everybody but Alabama in spite of the fact we had garbage at the the QB spot, also leads me to believe you're pretty young and stupid. Cram a tampon in there and cry to yourself. This team was insanely badass this year. Probably the best team LSU ever had. And next year will be even better.

In short GTFO.

Just one my friend..
The one that really counted..That decreased offensive production came back to bite lsu in the arse...
Understand this, les was under the assumption that the option would work again against bama.. but, common sense would have told him to have a plan b..which he didnt..every time the cameras showed saban on the sidelines, he had this look of content on his face..he wasnt really worried about scoring any touchdowns....its like the bama sidelines lit up everytime les sent jj back on the field....

You should have added it was against WKU and a pitiful Ole Miss team.

That's fu cking stupid. Without the others, the final one in the dome wouldn't have happened. Can't you count? Don't you know how things work in college football?

LSU lost. Ok It happens but to say that the previous 13 games are worthless is just damn stupid.

Or maybe ridiculous.

the other 13 games count, and it was a great season

but the same offensive flaws that have plagued miles while at LSU came into play in a major way at the end of the year

if JJ/Lee were the issue, we should have gotten Mett a lot more PT when we had blowouts to have him ready for UGA/Title Game

Arkansas as well. Let's not act like we lit up top 10 defenses all year. Any defense that coul slow down our running game made our offense struggle, no matter who was QB. Oregon, MSU, Kentucky were not pretty games offensively no matter how much you want to convince yourself JJ was the downfall of this team. The QB position as a whole was this team's Achilles heel and we game planned to hide that position all year long.

no, he is a quasi-CEO head coach. Now he was an OC before. but do you really want him meddling anymore after what we have seen last year and the last few games this year(passing wise)? He needs to let the OC have full control like the DC and keep his hands out of the cookie jar. It worked fine in the cotton bowl(studs calls) and the first 8 games this year. After that??? not too hard to figure out. a blind monkey could see it.

You mean Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Arkansas?

JJ did not play well against Western Kentucky or Arkansas. My little sister can QB a team to 7 TDs against Ole Miss.

Stats say that you're wrong. Those 2 games were 2 of the best QB performances and offensive production of the whole season.

I am glad you think Lee never did better than 8/14, 168 yards, 1TD (that was against Western Kentucky).

I said the QB and offensive production were 2 of the best not the 2 best. Western Kentucky was actually one of the better defensive teams we played all season.

And against Arkansas JJ threw for over 200 yards and the offense had its best production all season, close to 500.

This isn't to say JJ was a good QB. It only emphasizes my point that the QB position with Lee isn't what people remember it to be. Both QBs were not good this year an that's why we lost.

That comment made me laugh hysterically. Thanks for that.
