Have a hard time agreeing with that - now he was definitely a miserly bean counter, and paranoid AF, but responsible for hiring Skip Bertman and Bill Arnsparger, and IIRC, turning a department that was a financial disaster into a money maker. His legacy is definitely tarnished by the bugging scandal and his paranoia, but some would argue that he was the led the department into the modern age.

And he couldn't get it done. Then, Les started slipping on the field and he still couldn't get it done for 3 and a third more seasons, obviously not getting out of the contract by the time it was finally done. Very incompetent.

All this shite is Bertman’s & F King Alexander’s fault! Fact! Bertman hired Miles and F King wouldn’t fire him!
