At least sports related? I mean the kid doesn't get in to LSU at first because of poor ACT score but rather than let deter him he gets a job as a corrections officer and works until he gets in. I just think it's a lesson in delayed does not mean denied. People need to learn to be patient.

Gotta love Lavalias - One of the all time Tiger greats and yes, a great story of perseverance. But it will be hard for anyone to beat Warner's story - from undrafted free agent who was bagging groceries before his big break, to Super Bowl MVP, two time NFL MVP and Future Hall of Famer.
Edit: But Lavalais is certainly one of the top, if not the top, story for a Tiger!
