Its a deap seated distrust of him. Anything he does is perceived with doubt. He can lose it if he can turn this into a 10-11 win season.

And not for nothing, criticizing someone for lack of originality is ridiculous. If every thread had to meet that standard there MIGHT be three threads on the entire board, probably all on Food and Drink.

My frustration was him kicking RP off the team and not having just as good a QB behind him
So Miles and the team should have continued to put up with RP's shite and let him do as he pleases?
Best move Miles ever made in my opinion. The guy was a thug and an embarrassment to LSU.
Some decisions have to be made regardless of football and it's effects on the team.

Seriously... It all started with the Arizona St/Madonna headset and the fact that he is not a very good public speaker.

As defined by reason
Reason isn't a definition of the potential. That is a meaningless comment.
You have to tell us exactly in specific terms what the potential is and how it was not met for your premise to be meaningful. i. e. precisely how many yards gained per game is the potential But to make that valid you must also reveal who and how this "potential" mumber was determined. And of course who determined that this was the exact potential that must be reached.

Then give us a logical example. Show me some logic here. All I see is empty ranting with no proof.
quote:
Tennessee was a vastly inferior team by any meaningful metric (projected draft picks, record to date, depth of talent) and yet we needed a miracle to beat them because (1) we committed foolish turnovers; (2) we suffered numerous needless penalties; and (3) we couldn't employ basic clock management at the end of the game.
Then accordng to your "logic" the teams with the parameters you described should always win the game? Do they?
b]projected[/b] draft picks?
Are the projections always correct? Are there no "busts" in these projections? Do those with high projections always get picked higher and do those always produce at a high level in the pros? Projected draft picks is an empty measure.
Record to date is similarily meaningless. There are too many human performance variables to put all your eggs in that basket.
quote:
2) we suffered numerous needless penalties
Illogical on two counts. A. Numerous? How many are acceptable? How many are too many? B.What are needful penalties as opposed to needless ones. Othen than having too many men on the field, how many needed penalties were there in the game by either side?
I won't even address the issue of what is a foolish or not foolish turn over.
quote:
we couldn't employ basic clock management at the end of the game.
I'll concede that point.
I suppose potentially there could have been better game management, which seems to have improved in subsequent games.
Nothing you have written proves either logic or reason, just the empry rantings of a fan.
You really aren't good at this are you?

Uncommon Delusion, in your insane, frantic drive to apologize for everything Miles, you have proven yourself to be an incorrigible dunce.
Your most recent post is an actual masterpiece of buffoonery. It needs to be enshrined for all eternity in the guilded halls of stupidity.
You asked how one could tell if a team had played up to potential. My response was anecdotal: you can tell that a team certainly has NOT played up to its potential when it needs a fortuitous miracle to beat a vastly inferior team. How is it that I know Tennessee is a vastly inferior team? Three ways: (1) We have recruited better than Tennessee and have more depth. This is confirmed by objective, third party recruiting rankings (there was an enlighting post on this very topic earlier today); (2) projected NFL talent; (3) record to date. Therefore, I have provided three sources of credible evidence proving that Tenn is inferior. Your responses are priceless exercises in lunacy. You offer NO affirmative evidence that Tennessee is as good as LSU. You don't even mention the talent gap (you can't explain it away). You posit some generic critique of NFL draft projections. Inane. And then, in the coup de grace of idiocy, you say this:
Are you kidding me? You just argued that a team's RECORD is not indicative of its actual quality. I'll commend you on having the temerity to publically make a statement that fricking dumb. According to your logic, when a 1-9 team faces a 10-0 team, one can't quite be sure that the 10-0 team is really better. Moreover, if the 10-0 team struggles against the 1-9 team and needs a miracle to win, one can't REALLY be certain that the 10-0 didn't play to its potential.
Really?
Here is the bottom line:
Tennessee was a bad team.
Very bad.
We played exceedinly poorly against them. OUR mistakes were the only reason they were in the game.
We did not play up to our potential (as established by, yes, reason) against Tenn.
And, similarly, it was only our own ERRORS that made the Florida game closer than it needed to be.

I must admit that I would have been ok with Lee transferring to McNeese, after his INT's v Auburn and Georgia 2008.
I dont like OC Crowton's playcalling, especially in that Auburn game and the Ga game in which Lee threw the INTS. They seem to have ended the practice of everyone looking to the sidelines for 20 seconds.
I like Miles, but not OC Crowton.
Even if LSU wins every game and the SEC CG and the BCS cg
I would be glad for OC Crowton to move along to greener pastures. Gonzo or Wilson can OC.

Here is a trip down memory lane for you:

Defined how?
Determined by whom?
How is the potential defined? How many first downs, touchdowns, sacks, etc. You have to be able to put a quantity on things before you can measure whether the object has been met.
You didn't. Now tell me exactly what is the potential. Precisely.
And to make your requirements valid you have be able to prove that the measurements were drawn up by a person capable of knowing the subject. Your failure on that score is glaring.
I could have challenged you on the consistantly part, but I realized that would be way to much for you to handle.
Your rantings and personal attacks prove nothing. You never answered my challenge because you can't. You have nothing to prove your points because you have nothing but whining to support them. You came to the mental gunfight armed with a knife.
The truth is that this LSU team is not winning in the way YOU want it to. Well boo hoo.
