Salmon has huge hardon for ripping on Etling.

Not sure why. He sure seems obsessed with it though.

You all are incapable of having a reasonable discussion about Etling

Yes, because stats tell the whole story. Watch the tape and tell me they play the same.

I think the issue here is Harris a very talented QB who can play very well at times and poorly at times. It's almost like ppl forgot how good he was the first half of last year. Until he got injured in the Bama game he was one of the top QBs in the sec in terms of efficiency which is all we need.
This year he has played like crap for some reason. I think the point of the thread is that maybe the coaching change can bring about a change in Harris, i.e. Back to how he played early last year.

I like Etling a lot. Dude has poise and moxie. Two things Harris lacks. But his deep ball sucks and he limits the route tree due to his weaker arm.

I think we should go with both early in games then roll with the hot hand.

Here is something reasonable. Etling can read a defense and go through progressions. Harris can't.

Etling can make short accurate throws, Harris can't.

You should join pampered chefs or something since you know nothing about football. Progression takes time. He is Miles ahead of Harris mentally. You can't fix stupid

How is this for reasonable.....

A head coach that loved him some BHarris benched him bc of his crap play.
Put in the other guy and has basically singing his praises since.

Yeah, you're smart.

Completely fair.

But even with that, Etling isn't doing that much better.

Production stat wise doesn't tell the whole story.
