He could end up with a brief NBA career similar to Ronald Dupree. They are similar in size and athletic ability.

dupree is a much, much better athlete

taz is a better overall player

maybe I should have said Glen won't be with the Celtics in 2 years. Powe and Perkins both son him. Maybe he'll get lucky and catch on with another team like BB did and play well, but I just don't see the same potential.

I would guess that he's probably not NBA material, but he's a solid college player.

He would need to find a niche role with someone similar to Chuck Hayes

Ronald Dupree's athleticism>>>>>>>>>>Tazmin's

But Tasmin is a much better offensive player.

Tasmin could definitely play in the NBA if he can get the chance. He reminds me a lot of a poor man's Bruce Bowen, without the 3 pointer (YET) If he can add that consistent wrinkle to his game, he can bring something to the NBA table. Taz plays good defense, is physical, can rebound and has a solid offensive game.

Where are all those fans who were going to flock back to the program when LSU made a coaching change?

Waiting for the team to win the SEC. Oh wait, we had a team win the SEC two years ago and still couldn't fill the PMAC.

Better all around offensive player? Maybe. But even that would be a stretch. Dupree's scoring averages his three years as a starter was 15ppg, 17ppg, and 17ppg. Taz can't touch that production/consistency even when healthy. Dupree's game, from his athleticism to his scoring instincts, is severely underrated since he left LSU. An excellent case can be made that he had one of the 10 best LSU BBall careers of all time.

I think he will catch on with an NBA team. Definately a tweener and just hasn't developed a good enough jumper. Probably will be a short lived career though. Oversees would be a much better fit for him. I noticed he has put on some size, which will help down low in the SEC.

Tasmin unfortunatly does not possess a good enough stroke to score from the perimeter. He has no chance of playing in the league as a 6'6" small forward that can't score. That being said he should give the FEW tigerfans that go see this team a cahance to win the SEC WEST and maybe a game or two in the big dance.JMO

If he wasn't so passive, yes he would have a chance.

Prove your point? No way in hell he plays in the NBA. He can't make a jump shot consistently and cant play under the goal in the NBA at 6'7". When he gets into SEC play he may have a tough time scoring under the goal as well. I hope he proves me wrong though.
