The man can barely get through his interview on AFR without crying over Saban retiring. I mean, it’s not like Nick died

He’s an emotional guy. Fiery coach on the sidelines during his heyday. Not surprised he gets choked up a bit.

If saban is just retiring for more golf then the crying is ridiculous. If he’s sick that’s another story.

Pete Jenkins loves the game and loves the great coaches. He has a long relatioship with Saban.

Said he hadn’t talked with Saban since Oct 1st when he took the LSU job. So if he goes know something, he’s been holding on to it for a few months.
That being said, it was his opinion Saban is retiring because of NIL
