BTW, heading into this weekend, LSU has 13 sacks, Bama 15. Are those two sacks the difference between overrated and dominant?

Relax, he asked specifically about the D Line, which isn't overrated. It's just where people think it is.

Are you just willfully ignoring the five sack performance against Kentucky?
Or the six against MSU. In fact, since the OP mentioned it, I don't think we had a single sack against UO.

We haven't given up a hundred yard rushing performance this season.

He will probably break one, but no big deal. All LSU has to do tomorrow is score a lot of points. AU can't keep up with that.

My bad...had one sack against UO.

But good grief, 16 TFL against MSU...one game. DOMINANT.

It is a different style DL than maybe some are used to. It's why it's hard to compare LSU vs Bama on defense. No doubt Bama is more physical up front, as well as the LB corp. Our's is built more around speed off the edge than power up the middle. Both are effective.

Our DLine has withstood more potent offenses than Bama.

we should find out tomorrow, but we won't. Chavis will lie in the grass while the qb of AU makes a sandwich. Thus, becoming the first AU qb to get his first start and throw for over 300.

Our DE's are small. And tackles are inexpierienced unless you want to say soph are expierienced. Next year our dline will be good

Isn't Downs (one of the starting tackles) a Junior?

Ontario can bust one too. Obviously, the game plan on defense tomorrow will be more geared to stop the run though...or should be. I predict Mosely will feel some heat. He's no Geno Smith back there, and being inexperienced, will hold on to the ball too long from time to time.

You do realize that we have the number four overall defense in the country, despite facing two very potent offenses, right?

Me too. I like that kick arse, face in the dirt defense. Winning is the bottom line, but a fun defense to watch is killer.

how many did Poole have? He sucks, dyer is a top 5 elite running back. Maltzan and dyer can't fricking wait to pound our dline. I hate AU

How many did Lamicheal James, Kenjon Barner, and Black Fumbla have? Combined?

Sorry guys. I think this will be the perfect warm up/ barometer for UA. Run defense is a concern and maybe chavis didn't figure Poole abig threat.
