He won't have to but if it is called he should be able to handle it. He is at 207 lbs right now. Get to 215 and there should be no issue.

quote:Myles said he arrived in 2017 at 175, and is now 195 (April 10). Said his goal weight is 215. Seems like 205 to 210 is reasonable for the start of the 2020 season.
By the way: The official bio has him at 6'5" 183 and Orgeron recently says he has added ten pounds. That puts him at 193 and still a twig. Don't be a sunshine pumper.

I don't want him running...I want a 5-Star running back to run the ball. I want Brennon throwing the ball.
All things being equal, I’ll take a QB that can tuck it and get good yards on the ground too.

Gee, let me think of something to worry about for no known reason but nonetheless express myself on an internet forum as though I am so smart and maybe get other people to worry, too.

As with any position on the field, the more mobile and athletic a player is, the more effective they are. Generally speaking. But, with this offense, it's more about decision making than how mobile the QB is. And yes, he is smart enough to make the right reads. Would he be more effective if he was Michael Vick, yea. Myles is not a threat to run for a 80 yard TD, like Vick, but he is mobile and smart enough to get enough yards to move the chains. But, he is a better passer in the pocket. He will find open receivers much better than some more athletic QBs. Tebow comes to mind. So, it's a trade off. But, by the time Myles takes over, he will have another year and a half of weights and work since we saw him in the spring. He will be great in this offense.

Plus, in 2020, 3 3/4 years into the system, he'll have leadership abilities (and cred with his team mates) that a Frosh or Soph almost never have. Three years on the bench didn't hurt Burrow, and it won't hurt Myles either.

I don't understand your point. Are you saying that Myles is not capable of running LSU's offense when his time comes?

U will be running the Saints offense, you don't see Drew Brees running. Myles will be fine.
thats because saints oline is alot better than lsus besides brees being a hof qb
im not on board that the oline will be better next year...yall forget watching scrambling joe every game? just because the oline gets a year experience means theyll get better?
Not saying MB needs to be Deshaun Watson, but if hes anything like Mett than hes fricked
i think the game is too fast for him and that will get him destroyed at his weight

quote:nope, not in 2018. It was Brennan, McMillian, and Narcisse in the spring. And Brennan couldn’t take the job, and O had to run out desperately seeking a transfer.
