How many true freshman did we play this year? If you ask me.. I'd say that the future looks bright. We just need to find some defensive linemen.

No way this LSU team is on the path of Tennessee, recruiting is still strong, but I do think there should be some concern when 5-star players leave the state. If that trend continues, then there should be concern. The major concern now is winning, losses to Miss State at home doesn’t bode well.

Possibly.

If you aren't concerned that we could have losing record this year you aren't realistic person.

How it effects us going forward who knows?

To think other teams we have curb stomped for years in recruiting and on the field are ahead of is now is nauseating.

No and the reason is clear. LSU continues to recruit top five or ten talent each and every year so the cupboard may be green but never empty.

This Tennessee blog shows a list of early entries they've had for the NFL draft. It's not as many as you think. 19 since 1991. 9 in the last 10 years. I'm sure they've had bigger problems elsewhere.

Not even close.

Why? Let's put it this way. Michigan has taken the Path of Tennessee. Why? Because you cannot afford to slip up in recruiting/coaching hires when you lack in-state talent. It's been brutal to both programs, which must be highly-successful out of state in recruiting to be really good.

Louisiana is loaded with talent, and it will continue to be loaded with talent. Dinardo revived it, Saban refined it and Miles nearly perfected it...that is, locking down most of the top Louisiana talent. As long as LSU does that, they will not fall apart like those other schools who live off of national recruiting.

Your friend is wacky! Two things happened at Tenn: one, they stopped getting some of the top recruits they had been getting from around the southeast and two, they had 2 clusterf... HC hires back to back.

Alabama had their players get paid is why Alabama players stayed. I can't wait to get to the afterlife and have a little pow wow with Nick Saban about his cheating ways.

They say there are no more tears in Heaven but when Nick Saban and I hook up in heaven I don't see how that will be possible.

If LSU fired Les Miles

Then the decline would be real and we would be on the path of Tennessee

Thankfully the admin at LSU are not as ignorant, emotional and knee jerk reactionary as many lunatics who post on this site and boo during games
