Premier are Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU and USC. Bama hasn't won anything. they had a good season last year but came out with nothing and are still sucking saban's dick... that's about it. they are a good program just i wouldn't say the top of this decade.

LSU is sadly on the decline and Bama is on the rise

No, and it did not begin this year. Last year's 3-5 campaign exposed Miles for the fraud he is. By paying for Les, we are at risk for being Miles behind the elite programs in the country.

Seriously, how many teams led by good coaches fail to improve and some would argue get worse, after 6 games into the season?

Where is this decade coming from ? I said today. Is LSU a premier program today ?

As far as people saying bama is not well UGA has more BCS wins and SEC titles in recent years and don't dare and say they are a better program than Alabama

Alabama was ranked number 1 for a long time last year and have been the most impressive team so far this year. They are a premier program

And I said:

What qualifies as a "premier program"?

It seems like a question that should have been answered in the original post. It wasn't.

So again, what qualifies as a "premier program"?

Bama? Doesn't a premier program have to win a conference title in recent memory and not get embarassed in a BCS game by a mid major to get premier status?

he is just one of these fans that look at who the top 3 are (unless its someone who plays on a blue field) and jumps on their nuts... No logic at all.

A premier program is a school that can win the national title year in year out.

Also I think dukkeV is summing it up pretty well. No one us afraid of us

Is the 2009 Bama team better than the 2009 LSU team? Yeah, I'd say so. But does that invalidate the success of LSU in the last 5-10 years, and/or dismiss the ineptitude of Bama over that time frame? Hell no. In 5 years Bama may be riding a wave of titles and we may suck, but we don't know that yet. Only time will tell.
