I saw him several plays getting taking off his feet. I think he flies up with so much reckless abandon that it is easy to go low on him and he goes flying. It just seems like he would be coached to come up and breakdown to take on the blocker and at least slows the ball carrier's progress. Dont get me wrong I love his intensity and vicious hits but when he may be one of the last lines of defense he should just make a form tackle.

Pass plays eat him up.
His tackling skills are high schoolish. His current tackling skills will not get him to the NFL, plus he would never start for Saban or Bama without major improvement in all areas.
His going for the knockout all the time usually cost us penalties or yards added to the play with a miss.
I really want him to succeed at LSU and be the player that we all hoped for, but so far a bust.

Thoight he played better. Made an amazing pick that a bs penalty was called on. If you watch the pkay, the wr has a hand full of collins hair, yet thats defensive pass interference.
Imo, the refs have been bad all year ling. Way too many bliwn calls.
He didnt get any late hits in tamu. And again the usce game was another bullshite ref job. Usce player did the same thing earlier in the game clipping the back of objs helmet, no call. Loston didnt make any contact, 15 yarder.

He has played well. Better than some expected, for sure.

I think that was worth a double post. Loston is not a bust, not very good in coverage but not a bust.
