The man that touches the ball just about every time it is snapped is not the least of our concerns. Granted, there are a complete cast of characters that must do their gig to make the offense flow properly, but how JJ goes, so goes the offense.

1. Mallett
2. Brantley
3. McElroy
4. Garcia
5. Jefferson

Probably this order.

I think Brantley will suck arse next year.

They have no established receivers.
Lost a couple of good linemen.
Defense won't be as good, so they will need to score more.

dude, its Florida, they reload just like we do, if not better...

Look at Tebow's first year as a starter. What were they, 9-4? And they still had a dynamite playmaker like Harvin that year.

Going into this year they have a new QB with an entirely different skill set, they lost their C (I believe), and their most dependable WR graduated.

So now they have converted Rainey, a 5'9 RB into a RB/WR and their no. 1 WR is Deonte Thompson who was nothing if not inconsistent last year.

They have a lot of remodeling to do on offense.

If he is, the SEC is in big trouble.

Dan, I agree.
Florida will lose 3 games this year.

as the offensive line goes, so goes the offense. You can't expect a QB to have to get hit every single damn play, even when we're running slants (see the Ole Miss game). Hell, it took the coaches until the late 4th quarter to call a freaking fade route in that game.

I would like to know what the real agenda is for the JJ appologists? Why is it not completely appropriate to wait until next season to render an opinion on JJ? Why must we judge him worthy of merit now?

Dan are we just dismissing 9 win seasons now? I'm not saying it was stellar, but with a first year starter at QB (he did win the Heisman Trophy) and their defense only had to stop us one time out of the 4th and 1s and they would have won 10.

That will have a lot to do with where our returning offensive line is ranked...if they mirror last season's results JJ could be dragged down with 'em.

First year starter season. He did pretty good.

He'll get better.

He will definitely improve. Doubt he'll be #2 in the SEC though.

JJ has not showed it to this point. Hope he is better this season or we are going to suck.
