The field got a little chewed up yesterday. Its the best field we have had in the30 years I have been attending. However we are at the point with shorter days and cooler temps the grass doesnt recover as well and doesnt keep sending out massive new root growth. Its the nature of the beast. I do think they may have over watered it a little which didnt help.

They over watered it due to the drought. The roots were week as a result. Seems like they could take samples and test them once a week.

It doesn matterto me, however given that there are several MLB teams with turf managers that possess LSU degrees, something doesnt sound right. Can we figure this out in house?

I do not want artificial turf. I love the natural grass.

But yea, players were slipping, the announcers talked about them changing cleats, worried about injury, etc...those of you at the game may remember several people slipping, I remember RR7 specifically when the pass almost got intercepted, but there were a lot of others

They just need to figure it out, I do not remember many problems in the past

Stadium surfaces are like boobs, natural is better, it looks good until you play with 'em.

If we played all these day games on field turf that surface would be 100F+. The field has 3 good weeks to recover for WKY. Daylight savings time doesn't end until Nov. 6 when growing time is reduced. J/K.

Of course of they ever close in the SEZ artificial turn will be mandatory.
