Is it possible to move a game forward on the schedule?

Just hypothetically speaking could we possibly move rice up to this weekend? I know for weather and things they move games but is this something that happens as well?

FSU rescheduled a cupcake to become bowl eligible last year...,,lol

It’s not going to happen. Rice has a conference game that week. It would take too many moving pieces. Alleva won’t do all that for one player. If he actually does, he deserves all the credit in the world and I’ll never bad mouth him again.

If we tried to move Rice up to next weekend, there would be about 35,000 people at the game.

Yep. Another reason Joe wouldn’t do that. He cares about the economics involved more than the actual game. More money more money.
