Nope, not during a timeout, I'm pretty sure Marquette had just been called for a charge, but I'm not positive.

i think there was a lot of jostling for the ball, it got knocked out of bounds where he was standing and he just jacked up a 3.

Yep, thats exactly what happened. Missed shot, fighting for rebound, ball starts heading out of bounds, marquette player dives after it to save it, threw it directly out of bounds towards marquettes bench and the coach catches it and jacks up a 3. It wasn't really THAT bad of a shot when you consider it happened so quickly and he was out of bounds when he shot it. TJ comes out to bitch about that, they give him a bench warning and you can hear tons of booing and the students chanting "airball" at the marquette coach.

It really did. Really bang bang type play. Kinda reminds me of when the ref in the LSU-SC game a few years back just hits their QB with a forearm and you're left wondering WTF

I watched a kid jack up a 3 right after a foul call the other day and the refs called a delay of game warning and said the next would be a technical foul.

That's about what I figured. A player does it and gets warned, the coach does it and it's shrugged off.

I laughed and was like wtf? But it was just awkward and a weird moment to decide jack up a 3. never seen a coach do that and it seemed unprofessional. But I don't care.
