who would you bring over ware? fontenot ,benge? dorsey is in the portal.
nice to have beck as a pitcher and pinch hitter just in case we have a florida game 2 championship series situation.
benge has to be hurt. I've never seen a guy go from pitching in almost every game to never used again just because he walked a couple guys in a big spot .
you could tell Jay expected him to be a big part of the staff at the beginning of the year.

You left out the part where you have to be on the 27 man to play. So you can be in the dugout and not be on the 27. To play you must be on the 27 man post season roster.
