If he is, then LSU has the dumbest administration in major college football. It's not like O is some legendary coach in the twilight of his career that the school owes a debt of gratitude for being one of the best coaches in school history. If Aranda is the "HCIW" then why "wait"? Just name him the HC.
For better or worse, O could go grab a hot dog and sit in the stands for an entire quarter and literally nothing would change on the sideline. He's not involved in any playcalling and I'm sure Aranda, could decide whether or not to punt or call a timeout
