is he leaving for a head coach position somewhere?
I haven't seen anything that specifically says he is being fired, just "LSU and Canada to part ways..."

He's resigning under pressure, saving face. unknown about his future but it appears he has something lined up as LSU is not concerned about his buyout.

I believe its kind of mutual. Because if O was fed up to the point of Canada needing to be fired, he wouldn't be on the staff anymore.
I think its him not wanting to stay around as much O not wanting him here. If it is mutual, the buyout will be less than him being straight up fired.

No Canada has the bald headed man syndrome. Coach O refuses to put up with his attitude.Lsu will be a better team without him.
