Is Brandon Taylor done with football?

He's one of my favorite LSU safeties ever. I know he had horrible luck with knee injuries but he worked his way to being a starter when he was healthy (tore his ACL in his first start). He got cut but is there any word on potential tryouts or anything? If Chad Jones got an NFL tryout surely Brandon can right?

Idk, but that 2011 defense was so loaded with talent. I fricking hate that they couldn't bring home a natty.

I saw him at the Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic a couple months ago and he was on crutches

Man I thought he was gonna be a solid NFL guy. He doesn't get mentioned much but he was a key guy on that 2011 defense and is one of the least talked about #18's.

He was the brains of that secondary. He used to make all the checks. Not to mention he was the best tackler on the D, in my opinion.
Hopefully he can get healthy and give it another go in the league.

Completely agree. Taylor was almost a full-time starter for three seasons at SS. Dude was a great leader on the field and one of the more underrated players in the Miles' era. We've had some solid players come from Franklinton in the last 10 years.
