All SEC play stats:
# of games scoring less than 5 runs = 10 (0-10 record)
# of games giving up less than 5 runs = 5 (2-3 record)

# of games scoring 5+ = 11 (6-5)
# of games giving up 5+ = 16 (4-12)

Seems like half of the games we can’t hit, and more than half the games we can’t contain the other team. Even when we do score runs, we can’t hold other teams in check.

76% of the games our pitchers are putting all the pressure on our hitting to keep up. And the few games our pitchers are on, we can’t hit at all. shite show all around.

Think about the last two weeks. Against A&M, our bullpen keeps us in the games and our offense was awful against a mediocre pitching staff. This week, the offense is more than enough and even knocks out two good starters on Friday and Saturday and our pitching staff is a dumpster fire. We just can't seem to put it all together in the same weekend.
