I think most of us were willing to pay those kind of dues so that the passing game would be improved next season.

Count me in the blind pumper group that thinks we'll see an improved passing game anyway. Even if Harris was better than Jennings, we still would have lost 4 games. If Harris was worse, we may have had a losing record.

He wasn't percieved by the coaches as good enough, and he proved it when he he did get in 'LA coach wannabes should be used to not counting in the scheme of LSU things !

I think the fan base put too much on Harris with wanting him to start. I was frustrated with jennings, and wanted to see Harris. But it was pretty clear watching him that he didn't know the playbook very well, like any freshman QB.

Right on.

So it has taken him this long to recognize this??? But he is a slow learner, let's hope he gets it done

I disagree, only because the passing game was so poor down the stretch. We're basically starting from scratch again with Harris. I felt he should have (at least) gotten more snaps toward the end of the season.

A passing game can't save you from the REC or RECNorth. The officiating bias in those two games was pretty clear to me.

I think Harris probably should have gotten some reps down the stretch, but it's nothing that he won't make up for in 2015 if he wins the job. There's no reason that we can't bring him along slowly and still win our first 8 games.

Completely agree. If Harris wins the position going into 2015, LSU will once again commence a season with an essentially inexperienced QB.

I disagree. I think more time would have been a huge stepping stone for him down the stretch. LSU has competitive games the second and third week of the season next year, and may not have time to bring someone along slowly. I could be wrong, but I'm just looking at the schedule and how little Harris played down the stretch.

He said that BH would play in damn near every game this past season. I'll wait to see it with my own eyes. I am cautiously optimistic.

Face it... The dude is just saying what he thinks you want to hear...He will not bench AJ and have egg on his face... His ego is too big....

With the rate that MSST and Auburn are going to be losing graduates and NFL underclassmen this year, I just don't see how they can hold serve to our ground and pound defensive approach.

My impression is that we can handle both teams with a 50 carry, 200 yard performance from our backs... especially now that we know Vadal and Hawkins will return. Of course, that's also why the games are played.

Les really wants AJ to be his QB and that's very obvious.

bull shite. it's NOT OBVIOUS at all.YOU have no frickin' idea what goes on in practice or anything about the inner workings of this team (probably no other team either).

THERE IS A REASON BH DIDN'T PLAY!!!!

a football reason. our coaches want to win more than we want to.

an ignorant person can do ok if he can just recognize he's ignorant. think about that.

Every year we seem to overestimate how well we'll play against teams we should beat. Just a few weeks ago, it was Notre Dame.

I think the Tigers will be doing good if they're 3-0 to start the year. Auburn will be a difficult game, Johnson is going to be an absolute beast at QB.

Hell, Auburn is always difficult... but this year we'll be the more seasoned team and the game's in DV. If we can actually complete a pass on third down, we'll be able to dictate the game.

It is a fact that this happened you can see it on the sideline.... Him taking to the other guys and saying my bad I didn't see that signal or call. Imagine how good he will be once he knows what's up and where to throw the ball? Then if it breaks down let him make something happen. I hope they don't tell him not to do this bc he is a play maker plain and simple. He has many months to get it down and I imagine he will. He will still go thru growing pains but will also make big plays too.

OK.. EVERY week Miles said Harris would see the field and he didn't. Take that anyway you want.... Harris will NOT be the starter next year....Miles has ZERO trust in him. and not that much in AJ if you look at the limited playbook we used.... Think about...
