seemed to me that Les had been reading the rant and was trying to get back on their good side.
Yeah, I was kidding, but it did seem like Les had some big ears after no touches last game to as many as he did in the first quarter.

Its only a matter of time before Shep is the star of the offense. If it doesnt happen this season, it will be the first game of 2010. He still looks kind of nervous and overwhelmed out of the field. Once he calms down and gets his nerves under control he will be a complete monster.

If Shep is going to play...they need to keep it simple. He shot through that hole like a bottle rocket against Auburn...the Truck, wouldn't have made it without someone grabbing on, and slowing him down.
And as a recieiver, the small man - after facing the defense all his life...now has to turn his back on them. Got to be an intimidating situation, when you look at the physicality and aggressiveness of SEC corners and safeties. Hard not to flich...or make an evasive move...before securing the catch.
I would love to see a wide pitch to Shep, with the option to pass. If the back comes up...throw the short and safe pass...if they don't...turn on the afterburners like the other day.
Barring (God forbid) injury...Shep is going to enjoy his gift, and give us fans many joyful moments.
What I would give to get another shot at Tebow&Co, in Atlanta...with a seasoned Shep.
