It was State Palace, my group had a table. Went to too many raves their to count.

THIS...minus my group having a table.

I ended up in the VIP section somehow and ended up hella sloshed!

I remember being outside the dome and almost pulling on a ticket and going to the game, but instead went there and had a blast!

2008 game outside of the Dome was fun! They had a big screen with unlimited beer. Champions Square will be a lot nicer this year!

Thanks ortho....I think that may be the ticket for us. Where is champion square? Is it by the dome? Do we just bring some chairs or hang out and walk around?

that was the loudest envirnment I've ever been in. I could feel the organs vibrating in my body when LSU scored, that place was shaking.

I was there that night too! Me and my boy went to N.O. without a ticket and once we found we couldn't get one, ended up at the State Palace.

That place was like being in Tiger Stadium!

If you're definitely doing Champions Square, then I'd definitely bring chairs and blankets. I'm not sure if you can bring a cooler, but they'll have food and drink vendors out there.

I seem to remember there being two or three Oklahoma fans in one of the raised boxes on the right wall that would go nuts every time they gained 2 yards. Anyone else remember that?

We sat in the seats as well. It was like being at a game. People were throwing cups and popcorn in the air. Before the game we watched Indianapolis whip someone. Can't remember who. It was 95% lsu in there and I'm pretty surre most were students.

I still tell everyone to this day how much fun that was. I'm not sure I could have had more fun had I actually went to the game. Between commercial breaks and at halftime they would turn the sound down and crank up the music with chicks dancing on stage. Somehow we ended up with bracelets to get free beer. "LSU, USC, Oklahoma's number 3!"

Really wish they would do something like this again, even if they charged admission this time around.
