IMPACT ON RECRUITING

Are there high profile recruits we are competing for that you fear we may now lose because of the Ole Miss loss?

Well word is Mike Davis will decommit and go to Texas. Thats the first one and more are soon to follow

The Mike Davis thing was mentioned before the game. I think LS decides elsewhere.

I'm sure the loss hurt but this whole spike call controversy will not look good for recruits and their families and possible future employers for Miles. Fans won't care though, their selfish personal vendettas will insure this makes national news. Calling more attention to this issue will only hurt LSU's reputation even more.

Right. And you think Les' post-game interview with Tracy Wolfson will help with recruits? You don't think other coaches will use the last minute of that game to recruit against LSU?

Your point is well made; look at VOLS, program was in tank and they are having good recruiting year. Maybe the impact will be minimal.

Did I say that? It is done and in the past. The more we harp on it will only amplify an already bad situation. It is quite obvious Miles is not going anywhere, but like I said, fans just want blood at any cost.
