He committed early to ND but did still came in for visit (I believe we got in late) and had great visit, from what I recall. Some thought he would flip. Later he reconfirmed to ND

My brother in law was tillery's D line coach at evangel. He told me a story about meeting with Cam Cameron and Ray Lewis on a recruiting trip to baton rouge. Tillery was never lsu, not even a little bit. He was actually more worried about academics coming out of high school.

where did he go to H.S.? I don't even remember his recruiting or anything about him.

If I remember correctly his brother was on the football team at Houston or at least went there. His parents had a major pull in keeping him home. It’s actually kind of sad because he hated Houston a lot. He literally said multiple times while at Houston he wished he had chosen LSU. LSU was his dream school, and he regrets picking Houston over LSU. We would have been dominant with him on the line.
