You don’t have a long track history of winning and building multiple programs up and be a terrible coach. How many coaches had ND cycled through until Kelly got there and stabilized things?

So he is a builder not a winner?
Since Holtz they went through Willingham, the fat guy, and Davie... None were horrible as they all had winning percentages above .500. one could argue they shouldn't have fired them as after 5 years BK record was 45- 19 (68%) after 5 and Weiss, Willingham (3 years) , Davie were at 58%
He has never won a significant bowl game or conference championship (big East) his entire tenure.
