As I mentioned in the OP, I'd prefer the Stanford match up due to the west coast media coverage and our D beating down the Heisman QB offense. The "Miles beats former team" storyline has merit but we've experienced that already from the opposite end with Saban...and it's meh. However, I'd rather play okie state than a rematch with Bama.

Best matchup for LSU is Stanford or Boise st.

Against Okie St. LSU still a favorite, but much better on paper vs Stanford or Boise
