The icing on the cake is when the people that left early are on the road getting out while everybody else is still walking to their car, and they practically try to run you over instead of letting you pass in front of them to cross the street. I dare somebody to hit me one night. And yes, I'm gonna sue and make a dramatic production out of it.

not to mention it was on primetime ESPN. just looks bad when fans are leaving.

I don't know which game you where watching but being AT the game, I didn't see that many people leave early.

Now the Xavier game, the last Bama game was another story.

But last night...most people stayed, standing, and cheered after it was over.

I'm offering my services to the couple that left...
with 1:32 seconds to go in the 2nd half of the game last night.

Florida had just scored to bring the game to within 4 points and had called a timeout to discuss a gameplan. There was a couple behind me that grabbed their things and walked out.

Now, I realize that it had to be something of serious importance to leave a game with 1:30 left and the opponent knocking on the door. I am hearby offering my protective services to all couples that are scared of "traffic bandits". If you haven't heard of the "traffic bandits" I'll let you in on the little known fact around Baton Rouge. It is known to certain people (usually an older couple) that there are roving gangs that attack people sitting in their cars in traffic after LSU sporting events. These people that are in the know leave all LSU sporting events a few minutes early to beat the traffic even if it means missing a nailbiter of a finish. After all, who wants to be attacked by the traffic bandits?

Why buy the ticket in the first place if you don't care to see the outcome of the game? Don't question their fandom. They're just scared of the traffic bandits.

Anybody want to band together with me to protect these folks so they may feel comfortable watching an LSU game till the end?

I support you 100% on this.

I don't get this "none of your business" stance....

When you walk into a public place with me, it's my business. Stop for getting called out. There's not a bunch of good reasons to leave early. There are some but not many and the "traffic" excuse is just lame as shite.

I threw an almost full beer can at a car that was flying down dalrymle 2 yrs ago afrter football game, when she barley missed hitting this couple walking down road. Some dumb bitch stopped and got out, I told her get back in the car and slow the frick down.

what? Can't wait for the logic that leads to how you are allowed to tell someone else what they can and can't do because it's "your business".

And, for the record, bitching about it on the internet like a chick <> calling out the people who left early.

Fine. If I should decide I want to leave the Vanderbilt game early, I want to see you try and stop me.

smells like a cop out to me.

but if people want to leave, they have every right to.

I just think the LSU athletes deserve the fans to stick around till the end and enjoy the victory with them.

last night was a great performance.

You know, honestly I dont care when someone choses to leave,,, it does however puzzle me why some one would WILLINGLY leave a close ballgame.... any ballgame, espec when you paid money to attend.... To beat traffic is IMO a very lame fuking excuse. 9 outa 10 people that I talk to about attending LSU games say the reason they dont go anymore is bc they dont like crowds/traffic.

This topic really strikes a nerve with some of you... and the ones i am referring to is the people that make excuses for those that leave early.. NO ONE is trying to TELL YOU WHAT YO CAN AND CANT DO.. just that you are a POS for leaving a close ballgame early.

bunch of fairweather fans.

This was the whole point of my post. I have no problem with people leaving early or not showing up for that matter, but you can't get mad at me for making fun of you for leaving a 4 point ballgame with 1:32 left to go JUST TO BEAT TRAFFIC.

By that same token, some of you guys just have to have SOMETHING to bitch about. This team is 24-4, SEC champions, and you're griping about fans leaving early.

I swear, some of you people would bitch about a free lunch.

You assumption of me being pissed this whole time has been totally wrong. I've been making fun of these people and your dumbass shows up to defend their rights. Of course they have the right to leave early, but for God's sake don't let traffic patterns run your life.

...unless you have a phobia.
