I'm not in Tiger Stadium, so it's hard to see pass plays. Help me out...

Obviously LSU did a 180 degree change in the second quarter. The most obvious change is DE insertion. But I immediately started questioning the plays we were calling as well. Vertical passing as opposed to just bubbles and outs. We threw to multiple tight ends! And wheel routes! Looked great. My question...

In person you can see pass plays way better than TV. What other receivers are doing, etc. Were these plays different calls like they looked on TV, or was DE just finding guys that were always out in routes and not being found before?

It seemed like Cam in the 2nd quarter was like "Les let me call plays this quarter, please" and Les took back over in the 2nd half... Wondering what it looked like in person...

QB was hitting the open guys. When Harris was at QB he was missing them. In the second half Etling missed them, also. Idiots think the p,ay calling is different, but it's actually easily understood as the QB sucked or didn't suck. But that is NOT part of the play call.

This is just such dumb logic

That's exactly what happened. The play calling was completely different in the second qtr. TE wheel route, slip screens, even misdirection runs. It's blatantly obvious that Harris still has no grasp of the playbook, or he simply can't execute any of it. Either way, the real question is why was he the trusted qb to begin with?

I was in the stadium!

CLLLLEEEEARLY different plays. BH ran the old stuff almost exclusively, two WR sets. When Etling took the field, on his 3rd snap, we went to the "new stuff". On the replay, I counted 5 different possible targets, with the TE on a rail route. Maybe Les didn't want to show this stuff against Wisconsin or Jacksonville. I don't understand why he didn't run it with BH on the field. Dont understand going back to the basic passing game in the 2nd half. Danny struggled threw an INT on the same play that BH almost threw one in the 1st.

A lot of the calls were the same. The issue is that you only see one thing out of Harris because he had his go to routes he throws to open or not. DE had a much better view of the field and hit the TE that always seems to be open. He simply found the open receiver. On plays like his int there were only 2 receivers. Both covered with Dupree open for a little while.

Thats what it seemed like to me, and was wondering. TE's running down the sidelines? I haven't seen that in a LONG time.

It was nice that by DE's second possession, there were only SEVEN GUYS in the box!! Passing doesn't have to break records, just get that safety out of there would be a nice start!

DE and the second touchdown drive had plays called that I haven't seen LSU run in forever if ever. They may have but I can't remember them.

I have seen quiet a few home games the last 12-15 years and I cant remember a bigger change in momentum than what I saw last night when DE came in.

The second half though kinda put the brakes on my enthusiasm. He came down to earth pretty quick once they made adjustments

We went into conservation mode in the second half as well.
