You have to admit though that unless some amazing turnaround takes place, NIT bubble team this year would be a more realistic expectation for this club. Who knows what could happen in the SEC tournament but no way they beat Kentucky or Florida. I was really expecting more from this team but the last 2 games showed me how really far they are. Just not fundamentally a good team and very inconsistent.

the team was really good a few weeks ago, at least they appeared to be. We've had plenty of bad basketball teams through the years, but what's frustrating me the most is that we've never had a team that played this bad with so many good players. At least not that I can remember. 50 points

The effort on the boards has been lacking for several weeks. If Stringer and Hickey aren't hitting, we cant win. Martin and Mickey are too far away offensively and cant contribute night in and night out. I really think the jump from Class B to SEC is really effecting Martin

I agree with all that except for Mickey. He's the one bright spot. He's been the most consistent this year. While not a post player, he doesn't need to be and isn't asked to be. Stringer couldn't even get a half decent look from 3 last night. JOB3 refuses to pass and doesn't block out. Martin adds nothing at this point IMO. You can see the talent, but he's not there yet. I'd be very tempted to start Coleman in his place, and Morgan would get plenty of time if Stringer is cold.

I thought Morgan could have gotten more minutes last night. Mickey has been a bright spot. I am just saying we cant depend on him to get 12-15 every night. Hickey and Stringer were absent from the game. I think the main goal of the offense is to get it into JOB. Teams are bringing the double team late and he cant pass.
