I'm pulling for BAMA and all SEC schools in the bowls. Let bama and the gumps spew all the homer gumpfilled posts they want if they win, they deserver it.

I'm having difficulty pulling for Texas, but I can't root for Alabama.
In the long run, an Alabama win will be good for the SEC (4 in a row). Provided that this is the only one they get, Saban bolts for Penn State (after we kick the crap out of Jo Pa and send him to retirement) and we win it all next season.
If all of that happens, I'd be OK with Bama winning. But as for during the actual game . . . I just don't know how I'll feel. I guess the game will have to begin for me to know.
Have to wait and see which team repulses me less.

Some things are just too much, and wishing death upon a group of 18 yr olds because they don't play for your favorite school is certainly one of them. Isn't this the guy who claims to have a relative on the LSU team?

I personally didn't see him as being serious and am not personally offended because I honestly don't think he feels that way. We all tend to ranter a little too excessive sometimes.
Kindof like when I say Gary Crowton needs to be fired. I don't really mean fire him...just that he needs to be a coach at another university by any means necessary, other than being fired.

I would also love to see Colt get the Heisman.
if only because we need to appreciate when a player decides to stick around with a program and comes back and play another year.

Even high school kids know that you pull for your conference in these situations. In our case a Bama win help may help us get into the NC game the next year.

I disagree. Bama getting blown out may hinder us some if we have two losses but the media has come to the conclusion that the SEC is the dominant conference in the nation. Bama winning/losing isn't going to change that unless Bama takes a whipping like they did from Utah last year. Which may very well happen. Doubt it, but doubted it last year too.
