Who will be the new chosen one if this epidemic spreads?

I haven’t. But I’m seeing more and more comments where others have. Not many, but a few.

Some opponents are going to score points, that is the nature of college football and how it's set up. It does not help your defense when your offense decides to just crater for large chunks of the game. No defense is just going to go out there possession after possession and shut an offense with even a little bit of creativity down if their own offense is not complimenting them with a bit of rest and scoring of their own.

If the offense had even one scoring drive in the third quarter that game isn't nearly as close as it got for a little while.

Anyone who turns on Aranda is a godamn idiot. There are VERY few defensive minds equal to him in the game.

I see no reason to turn on Aranda but my concern is the quality of play from subs. Much of the time that Tech was moving the ball to get back in the game was being played by a large number of subs in the DB and LB. It was the difference in getting stops and not.
I do say we still have some work to do on tackling. Can you imagine how many sacks this team could have if they could wrap up a guy in the backfield.

I did last night. Not his best night. Yes he was a bit hamstrung by injuries, but he didn't seem to have an answer to a lot of skip's screens, moving pockets, and little pressure on the qb. I love Aranda and think he's arguably the beats dc in America. That being said, playing like that last night gives me diarrhea thinking about what Tua will do to us.

Fulton coups step it up just a tad. He is making Aranda look bad. Aranda will not tolerate looking bad for long.

Completely agree with everything in this post. We will all be doing something else by halftime if the defense plays like that vs Bama. We will play better against them but the point stands.

I'm not sure what you mean by "turning on Aranda". Personally, I wouldn't want any other DC in the nation. I also think Aranda is more critical to LSU's success than everyone else on the coaching staff combined.

That being said, the comments I saw were people concerned about breakdowns, guys out of position, and "Aranda needs to fix this stuff before we face Alabama and Georgia."

Do you have anything stronger than that to support your claim that people are "turn[ing] on Aranda"?

You see, I'm thinking your post is intended to show that most LSU fans are just unreasonable and they hate everyone, including an obvious elite coach like Aranda. So, when someone rightfully points out O is below average and it is still an open question as to whether he can do better than a Citrus Bowl appearance, they can be dismissed as "idiots", "disloyal" or "some people just can't be pleased".

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt about this, but this is how your post comes across.

A few overreactions, like every week.

Aranda made zero adjustments in the second half. Tech kept converting on 3rd down. Zero pass rush all game.

Love Aranda but he got outcoached last night. Wish we had an offense like Techs

You'll see more QB pressure vs Ole Miss.

I think Techs air game caught him a bit off guard.

I hope those idiots realize that Dave is the one that’s keeping this whole thing together. Alleva knows that, that’s why the guy is getting paid more than Lincoln Riley.

Do people ever think that maybe the defense gets demoralized when the fricking offense does nothing for quarters at a time?

Sure he had a bad game last night but if we had any other DC we would have lost
