You should too. Any shot of a decent OC went out the window with this Aranda deal.

We may end up with Ensminger as OC, but it won't be because of Aranda's deal. Football makes money hand over fist - $90m a year in revenue.

This is the same LSU administration that was crying about shutting down football because of lack of money. No way they let them spend more

Ensminger won't be LSU's OC next season.

You should go into full melt-down mode right now. If it doesn't happen it still will have been good practice for tomorrow's melt.

political posturing. Alleva knows his job is on the line just as much as Orgeron's is. they'll hire the guy they think will do best, not the guy who will do it for $500k.

it might still be E, because O probably wants a yes-man.

If he wanted Ensminger, he could have named him immediately after the bowl game. Orgeron has done things like this really fast (Gregg OL coach being announced immediately when Grimes left). Doubt it is Ensminger.

Firing Canada and promoting Ensminger (when he could have picked him last year) just would prove what a failure Orgeron's pick of Canada was and how much money we wasted because they can't get along

there will be a college football salary cap before long, just like the pros, the "owners" can't restrain themselves

and you bought that? wow.

LSU football is a very profitable operation. they even donate at least 10 million a year to the university. and just think about the pushback from the inhabitants of Louisiana is he even made one step to do such a thing.

yet you bring this impossible thing up.

profits and revenue are two different things. football donates to the university and funds all the rest of the men's and womens sports except mens basketball and mens baseball.

I disagree, but even if that is the case, we kept Aranda. That was easily priority #1.

Jesus god damn Christ.. Some people aren't happy unless they aren't happy.. Could win the god damn lotto and STILL find a reason to bitch/not be happy.. don't have to be a valid reason- but ANY fricking reason that will warrant a god damn bitch session..
