Give Trent a couple of years to develop the program. I think its in good hands. This team is small and has little depth.

UCONN is just bigger and faster. I gave LSU about a 10% chance of winning and I hadn't seen UCONN yet. In a 100 games, LSU could win one. Spencer's shooting was awful, I think he was 2-14 at one point, he missed plenty of open shots. Warren played well when he was in the game. Taz has to get it going, he can score against anyone. Dotson is a freshman coming off an knee injury, give him some time. Bass played well and that is encouraging. Green and Harris were outclassed down low, Green is slow and Harris is thin. UCONN's big men were neither. This team will be competitive and if they get to 8 wins in the SEC, that will be great. Johnson will need some time, give him the 2006 team and he wins a championship. I don't think LSU can get that kind of talent consistently, but after this year, I expect that Johnson's teams will have good players and depth, they will be in the tournament every year. The years he can get some great ones, they will be in mix for a national title.
