it would definatly be nice to blow out a good team like SC...the way florida did to us to regain our confidence back! it's exactly the medicine lsu needs if we wanna win the west!! dem coaches need to light a fire under dem boys azzez!!!

This would be a great game for SC if it did happen. As weak as the D has been they haven't given up that BIG game yet.

Tebow only threw for 210 yards! Only 1 TD.
14 21 210 66.7% (He didn't need to throw very much with all those huge plays)

Tyson Lee only 175 yards!
17 26 175 65.4%

Chris Todd way too many at 250 yards!
17 32 250 53.1%

Average passing yards given up ALL games = 195.4

Average russing yards given up ALL games =
108.2

So....where lies the problem? Big plays...It actually would appear we don't have the killer instinct to pound out turnovers!

If LSU gives up 200+ yards to Garcia/Smelley, then it's obvious the problem with the D still exists and I don't like our chances of winning.

i hate watching tepper part 2 out there and it scares me. I hope miles gets ride of them at the end of the year. I know its impossible to get rid of them mid year so lets just hope they don't blow more games or that gary gets on it and we can out shoot everyone.

...agreed!!!! just hope they can at least hold on this year and score enough points to win the majority of their games this year and then hire a really good HDC!!! this co-DC crap is frickin rediculous!!!

well Saban and Muschamp are gone, Saban's not well liked around here, but on 3rd and 8, you knew those mofo's was comin to getcha, that first TD Fla. got wouldn't never got there against them, not with Tebow being horizontal and everything

I will admit that I loved the ATTACK defense, even though it was a huge risk. Sack them and scare the hell out of em. Surely you'll give up some big plays....but pound them scared in the process.

Rush the QB every play (stop the run on the way to the QB) is almost what Saban did. One time he played it safe was in the Iowa game last play...prevent.

We could not blitz Tebow once they got the momentum and maintained good field position, as they were then enabled to throw the ball and spread the field, which disallowed us from blitzing. Tebow lit up our defense and would have even more if we bltized from that posture becuase he is such a great and quick decision maker.

and that was the correct call on that last play if DB's follow his instructions, you knew they had to go deep to beat you, and yet you still allow the WR behind you, unacceptable with Saban, I saw him chewing DB out after game.
