HE ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!

The pressure a guy like him puts on the defense is truly amazing in itself. Look at Dixon at Oregon. He wasn't half the recruit Shep was coming out (although he was a stud) and Oregon built an offense around him and his bad arse speed and vision.

Shep could easily be successful running LSU's offense. Wake up you idiots! I'd rather see LSU lose with getting to see him play than watch them fold taking sacks and penalties etc.

The point was he would absolutely put a lot of butts in the seats at the Spring game just to see the show. HE IS A ONE MAN SHOW WITH THE BALL!

There is no interest in the same blah blah blah bullshite going on at qb.

A fricking thread guessing SG attendance if RS was named started. How fricking retarded.

If you have nothing better to do with your time, you are a sad sack.

i dont see how you can say he isn't good enough to play QB.. I am not saying that he is... but i certainly do not think there is evidence that he is not. The only time i have seen him at Qb is HS highlites and the spring game last year and he looked great in both of those

Sadly, you're wrong about that.

I think it would be a good PR move but not the best move for LSU football. Maybe RS at QB for trick plays 2-3 times in BIG games to throw off Florida and BAMA.

Other than Vince young who is a freak of nature college teams usually don't WIN NCchampionships with scrambiling QB's

Tommy frazier and Tebow, were all based on run 1st option systems so I don't couint them.

I meant as far as drawing more attendance to the Spring Game. Naming RS a starter would have gained more interest.

If shepard was named starter, Crowton would use him stricly as a pocket passer and tell him to never run with the ball.

To respond to the original question about how attendance would have been different, I say 30,000 easy. Question was on attendance not whether or not RS is good enough to be qb.

I am guessing attendance would have been the same.

If Jarrett Lee would have been named the starting QB before the spring game, the attendence would have been around 50k.

FOR THE DUMB ASSES.... LOOK ABOVE.....LOOK AGAIN....

did I ever say i WANTED Lee as the starting QB?
