From your juvenile response, it appear your are happy with eight and nine win seasons. This is the same attitude that keeps LSU from being a national power, or even in the national discussion. If you are happy with a 8-8 SEC record the past two season, I understand how you tolerate and even support Miles.
Yes...all of us Miles supporters are happy with 8 and 9 win seasons. We don't ask for anything more.

it would seem that would have to mean that LSU '10= LSU '07.
not necessarily because UNC '10 is not as good as VT '07. I just think the outcome will be the same...nothing to do with the status of the teams.

You'll find out soon enough.

damn, from reading this board over the past few weeks one wouldnt realize we were prepared to face such a juggernaut. I have lost some enthusiasm now that I have come to find this is going to be such a blowout.

You do realize you're on an LSU website, right? And honestly...from what i saw from your team last year against decent teams (not padding stats against cupcakes), sorry if im not impressed by a middle of the pack ACC team.

Surprised to hear that is the case. Had no idea yall would be that good this season.
Well, if you guys are as good as VT was in 07, then we better be damn good in 10 or it will be a very long game for LSU.
Who knows what will happen in the NC vs LSU game, but it only counts for one game no matter who does what and what happens later in conference play is a hell of a lot more important for both teams. imo

If LSU loses to NC, the wheels WILL come off.
I'm telling you, if NC is a loss, this team will NOT have a winning season.
I agree with this.

And I am sure that UNC is not impressed with a middle of the pack SEC team.

No disrespect here, LSU is a great team with great athletes. Not in any way disputing SEC as the best football league. I also do not believe if you lose, that it should indicate you will have a bad season.
I think that UNC will be one of the two best defensive teams we face. Although not intimidated by UNC's offense, we have some questions with our revamped LB corps, a lighter DL, so the game could be very competitive. Likewise, the morale consequences aside, this is a big game for both teams, at the earliest possible moment in the season. Should either team be significantly more prepared than the other, gets out to a big lead and keeps the pedal down, the other team should not consider it the end of the season. In 2007, VT finished third in the final BCS standings (and may have been the second best team in the country) and we went through them like they weren't even there on September 8th.
It happens. UNC is one of the best coached and best defensive teams in the country. No serious LSU fan is taking this game lightly.
