I was just fricking with ya brah. Miles is a good coach, but nothing spectacular. I like Miles because he is lucky and is ballsy. Sometimes that is just as good as an elite coach.

At no time that I have ever encountered you on the Rant have you said anything that would be considered in line with this idea. Hell, your 'effing user name suggests that Miles is a force of destruction that causes despair to the land.

Whether you're backing down now or whether you have radically altered your stance now that Miles has reclaimed the 10-win promised land, GFY. You were better off sucking of Saban before.

This is a stupid argument. Saban was a great coach and won games and chamionships. Les somehow finds a way to win games. The question should really be, which one will keep up the trend of winning?

IF Saban had been here, we'd have lost to ULM.

Saban would have melted down halfway through the season and would have had a stroke trying to coach our QBs. He would have lost the team after the loss to TN and would have started punting on second down. When the season was over he would have fired everyone on the offensive staff except for Bobby Williams. Also, during the offseason he would chase off all the 4&5 star atheletes that underachieved and defected to make room for the new 4&5 star Freshman.

7-4 national championship two years later. The cycle repeats.

I know one thing, I bet Lord Saban would have an OC that could not only figure out a way to utilize the speed of the Lord Savior Messiah, but could design an offense that the QB could actually understand and run effectively.

You think Little Debbie would keep an OC on his staff if the offense finished ranked #112 one year, followed by #90 the next, #11 in the conference and was just totally dysfunctional? He'd be a gern pecern in a New York minute.......
