Please your talking about Appy St man. It will bite us in the arse if we can't make special players like James, Arenas, and someone from Georgia start running with the football from the endzone or near it!

Well you are the one talking about creating turnovers on kickoff returns! I mean Michael Clayton practically killed an Auburn return man a few years ago and he didn't fumble........ITS A RARITY!

yoda, i agree with you.

the ball travel time is shorter when it only makes it to the 10 yr line (if even there) and the kick off hasn't filled their lanes at that point. a decent returner with good speed and good blocking will have a much larger lane to break thru to the house.

you're not alone on this. people who actually understnad the ENTIRE GAME of football concur with you.

Not trying to create a panic, but just saying in a close game you play your turnover creating Kickoff game, and I'll play it the other way and I guarantee you I have the advantage!

Care to guess how many touchbacks LSU kickers had ALL of last year?

Care to think back to how many "close games" LSU had last year?

Care to think back to what the ultimate outcome was last year?

Please....

Dude, the opening kick of the Appy St. game went to the 15yd line and Ryan Baker lit that kid up at the 22. I'll take that all year long.

We had a few that almost killed us.........I know we have a strong defense but this year our offense may not be able to make all those huge plays on comebacks and closing drives,etc.....

It would be nice to have the luxury of a Kickoff man who could boot that sucker and pin you on the 20 3 out 4 times!
