I never got that sense early, when it was Florida firing Napier.

The early tone was that it was time for Kiffin to step back up to the big boy table, and create a machine in Gainesville.

We got on the national shitlist the weekend we lost to A&M, and fired both Kelly and Woodward before MNF. It was too sudden to build the storyline for the media, and it was clear we were mobilizing.
