There is your first mistake. Also Mett is good but good doesnt make up for experience

you were impressed by his 4 regular season passing TDs? in 6 quarters Lee is already halfway to Jeffersons total regular season passing TD total

we pretty much all agree that Mett is the most talented QB on the roster. but, Lee has been through hell and back.. played and delivered in hostile stadiums, and that's hard to top.

Thanks for posting something that's never been posted.

I said this earlier and I'll say it again.....

Lee is a 5th year senior and will start. Mett is a RS sophomore.

Yes, Mett looked good in the 2nd half against NW st..... but it was NW st.

And did you notice all the plays were the same?

Mett WILL NOT start unless Lee gets injured. Write it down. Get it tattooed on you. Put it on a post it and staple it to your hand so you don't post something stupid like this again.

And this doesn't mean anything:

quote:

I would rather Mett to start.

You aren't on the coaching staff.

Quite simple to figure out. Jl's 5th year in the system playing/practicing with these guys and Mett is just in his first season as a tiger. Was just implying JL has had more time to mesh with the guys and i do know that we have a new oc but he has been here awhile himself

Oh JL will continue to be the starter unless he gets hurt, so

People fail to realize that ZM was a stud in JUCO which isn't much different then playing against Northwestern. He had LSU's players going up against NWS...and had a good game. Go figure.

Give me the 5th year senior with experience against Alabama, Florida, and everyone else in the conference while we still have championship hopes. I don't want to take the bumps that most Pro-Mett/Anti-Lee fans are willing to take. I want to win, and right now the best chance of that is with Lee.

please make it stop he played against Northwestern state its not like they are alabama or any other top 10 defense.

Mett will get his but for now we should all be 100% behind Lee.

Lee should start but most on here were arguing about spring game and who playedthe with 1s and 2s. So technically mett did some of that with back ups in offense.

I understand that you are new here, but at any time of the day there are atleast 5 fricking threads about this.

We already beat the #3 team in the nation with Lee. I think he has earned the right to be the starter. Also, he has had no turnovers, and has passed the ball fairly well. He has had much more time to learn and work with this offense and these players.

Mett will have his chance to be the starter, this I can garantee. When he does get that chance, he will be a superstar.

I really don't understand the disdain some people on this board have for Lee. The guy has done NOTHING wrong so far in two wins. He has a pair of TDs with no interceptions. The offense is moving the ball regularly and scoring touchdowns.

Yet they somehow perceive that he is not comfortable in the pocket or his passes aren't perfectly placed or whatever....

The man bleeds purple and gold and is giving LSU fans all he's got. So far, it's been plenty good enough. You guys had better stop complaining or you're liable to miss one of the most compelling stories in college football this season.

Let me get this straight- you would rather have a QB who has never played in a SEC contest, has 1/2 of a game vs LSU opponents experience( it may be a stretch to even call NSU an opponent) has limited knowledge of the playbook

and you think his natural talent can make up for his lack of major college experience and knowl
