Probably bc Eddie played here when Bianco was an assistant and two have known each other for nearly 30 years now

Exactly. "Stay and get your degree" is pretty overblown. A baseball player is on campus for 3 years. You can play baseball for a few years and see if it works out then go back to LSU and finish your degree in a year.
