I am at a parent/teacher conference, and I just cracked up out loud at the suggestion to go for it on every 4th down less than 4 yards to go.

Under these conditions Georigia wins.

I can't think how LSU stops this.
Would that make you happy?

Play a 4-3 rush in the box, and drop 4 back into coverage. The LSU o-line is weak and will not be able to hold. 7 in the box could stop the LSU run. 4 in the defensive backfield plays man coverage on Tolliver, Lafell, Jackson etc

UGA's corners are not very good. IF they play man to man they will get thrashed.

On offense: Create a miss match by forcing Jones to guard AJ Green. Throw at least one deep ball to AJ Green, every set of downs and go on fourth when less than 4 yards. Mix 50-50 pass and run.

Yes throwing deep passes against Paatrick Peterson and Chad Jones would work brilliantly.

I did not realize that we had college level coaches here in the Tiger Rant. I need to hang out here more often so that I can learn more about game strategy.

I am so impressed with the knowledge that 'Coach' puts up at the beginning of this thread. I guess he has put his resume in at Georgia for the defensive coordinator's job when that guy gets let loose at the end of the season.

Great game planning mike4lsu. That was impressive breakdown of LSU's weaknesses.

Here's the question: if uga thrashes us by 2+ td's saturday we feel the same way about LSU as we do today...we knew it was just a matter of time before we lost. BUT, what do u think of LSU if we go in there and hang 40 on them and get the win?? I think there are still some questions even with the latter happening.

You really should not be allowed to post on the Rant or the SEC Rant.
