I agree. They could have left him in portal.His type of skill set doesn't match what Brian Kelly and Denbrock want in a QB.
It's a shame he was given a facade about a chance to compete for the job.

When Saban was here he started Marcus Randall his senior year his senior year because Randall had paid his dues. I’m not saying Brennan should start all year.
