He is 63.outside if nick saban, what 63 year old coach would be covetted? Bill Snyder, Pete Carroll, Billiam Belichick, and Tom Coughlin. Let's say there are a few.
Congrats. You successfully found the only way to put Les Miles in a list with those guys.

Think about this for a second.... that's not very good with this so-called amount of talent....

Yep, for me the SEC record showed the decline yet SP get's a pass.

Sorry, New Orleans thing, Sean Payton.

Nick saban loses to a far far far less talented team every year.
Except this year, so I guess you're a liar, I'm saying that in a nice way.

stupid people aka negatigers are still unconvincily trying to convince people they are not stupid !

The difference is they lose once.
So if the greatest coach of our generation, with by far the most talent, loses to an inferior team every year, then it's not some huge failure for the rest of cfb coaches to lose more than 1.
Thats the point.

It's really not complicated.
We can easily extract our own opinions and go to simple observation.
Coaches that are considered good coaches, even when fired, tend to immediately get offers elsewhere.
Regardless of what anyone in this thread argues, the collective college football world is making its opinion known.
Miles ain't in demand. Whatever one might argue Miles was, there's no avoiding the reality that no one seems to think he is now.

You have no idea if he has been offered anything.
He is 63 years old. Outside of Saban what 63 year old career cfb coach would gain interests? Youre not being honest with yourself if you dont believed miles would be up for a big time program ,if he were 10 years younger

You dont know what Miles has been offered and youre taking that not knowing as a fact that no one wants him.
He has had 2 very successful tenures in cfb and was better than his predecessor at every stop.

This is what I am talking about you defending him... you can get off you knees dude... those facts you throw around are one thing. But you will defend him to the death.... why does it even matter if he has been offered or not???? Why you want to make a big deal of it?????

If Pete Carroll said he may be interested in coming back to college coaching he would be the 1st choice on almost everyone's list... that is a fact........

But he isnt. You also act like that list isnt proving my point when it actually is.
He had to name 2 of the best coaches in the nfl for an example of 63 year old guys getting offers.
Comlin isnt even getting offers.
So thats 3 coaches above 73 that would get offers and they are all in tier 1 just like Saban.

You said i was defending miles because i posted that a poster on this board has no idea who has contacted miles.
Please explain how that is defending.
Or are you saying ShortyRob does have facts what has been offered to Miles?

This whole thread is stupid.

But Miles IS on the market. We both have zero clue if anyone has asked him or not...however the way he left LSU looking when he was fired SAYS something...the s team looked awful the 1st 4 games this year with a great amount of talent... I would think a lot of places are thinking he may have lost his edge and how can he win here without that great talent.... think about it...,

Im not the one saying if he was contacted or not. Posters are using their lack of knowledge on the job offers for miles as proof that no one has reached out to him.
