And at least 5 of those should have been tackled. There were only maybe 2 that were clear sailing to the endzone. You do realize that it's not against the rules to tackle someone after an interception.
quote:Dude, if you honestly believe that the defense is solely responsible for the losses after our OWN QB HAS GIVEN THE OTHER TEAMS A GRAND TOTAL OF 60 frickING POINTS YOU ARE INSANE.
This was supposed to be a dominant defensive team w/ the most dominant defensive line in all of football. The QB was simply supposed to be a caretaker.
Take away those pick 6's and INT's and we win both the Bama game and the UGA game and are 10-1, even with the poor defensive play.
The defense is having to go out and defend against points that they weren't even responsible for allowing. The QB play has allowed all of those points and when that happens it literally sucks the life out of the defense.
It's not just the O or the D, it's BOTH!

Catch the dropped perfectly thrown touchdown pass and we win the Bama game.
While I will not use profanity to argue w/ you on a message board that is read by people of all ages, I see the defense as the biggest problem of the year.
If the defense had been even half as dominant as advertised we would have 2 lossess maybem even 1.
I was UF when the gap was closed to 20-14. Could not stop Tebow.
Could not stop Stafford.
Keep those two in check and catch 1 more ball and we're a 1 loss team.
JLee will be much better next year. But right now he's doing better than Stafford his frosh year and Stafford may be the #1 pick in the draft if he leaves. Stafford lost to both Kentucky and Vanderbilt his freshman year for 2 of their 4 losses.
