Both Cam and Marvin will be NFL players. Cam will likely make a splash earlier, but if Marvin Wilson puts in the work, he may have the longer career.

Definitely.

I think a lot of people might think big Marv is a Sopsher-type, but he is not. He has played well for FSU. He’d be contributing on this team for certain.

Akers is a stud. He was a can’t miss prospect who has not disappointed. As such, he has gotten a lot of work so far in his career. I think in the long run, it would have benefited him more to come here and share the load with Clyde and others.

Actually they didn’t, which is the point of this thread.

think people who chose LSU over Alabama in these last many year regret it?

apples to oranges maybe.

but there were plenty of schools I could have gone to and gotten abetter education, and then better jobs, different life altogether.

I will never know.

but I chose lsu and never regret my decision.

Ask Kevin Faulk if he regrets choosing LSU over Florida State. During his college career, FSU played for 2 National Titles and in 2 what we now call access bowls. At LSU Faulk got to go to 2 Indepence and 1 Peach and went 4-7 his Sr year.

Don;t be a petty dick fan because some kid dared to pick what he thought was the best school for him and not your favorite team.

Using OP logic, I guess he was perfectly fine when we lost future NFL HOFs to Miami and Florida St back in the day.

Like on the recruiting board when highly ranked guys go out of state, people act like they committed crimes even though they don't shite talk LSU or their coaches. At the same time they praise highly ranked guys who leave other states to come to LSU.

At the end of the day Akers is going to be a top 3 round pick making millions, and that's what most of these players care about anyway.

Cam Akers would be a superstar in this offense

Sooo wth does your question have to do with the OP.

OP said could have been here competing for the NC.
LSU players in the past could have gone to Alabama and won several.

It’s not a slight against LSU.
It’s pointing out the stupidity and arrogance of fans who are so biased that they can’t possibly see another perspective.

How the frick do you know? They may have met their future wives there, mentors, friends, whatever. Who the frick are you—or OP—to suggest they know what the best decision was for 2 kids who weren’t even from Louisiana. This thread fricking sucks and is embarrassing for LSU fans. Like most threads on here, though, so no big deal, I guess.
