but from the outside it seems like he's hire based on some level of comfort of those he's worked with or had some interactions with while at LSU and I wonder if he actually searched out any other coaches. I know CEO seemed to have done the same and curious as to how BU shakes out.

He worked for Ron Roberts at Delta State. Coaches hire who they know, have worked with, or those who worked for a mentor.

I mean I really don't care about his luck now, he's the enemy and he's poaching our coaching staff and trying to poach our recruits. Thanks for everything but IDC if he ever wins another game as a head coach. If he went to NFL it would be different

Fuentes turned it down and I was told Leach turned it down. They had to fill the spot and Dave is as good a get as there is that doesn’t have HC experience.

This is a new one for me. Questioning a guy hiring from the national championship staff. Or guys he’s hired or worked with. Odd.
He also just hired Larry Fedora as his OC. Fedora is a really good fit for Aranda.
